MACQUARIE AIRPORTS EXPRESSES INTEREST IN QANTAS TERMINALS.

SYDNEY, Aug 27 Asia Pulse - Macquarie Airports Ltd (ASX:MAP) has thrown its hat into the ring regarding the potential sale of the Sydney Airport freight and passenger terminals currently owned by Qantas Airways Ltd (ASX:QAN).
Qantas has confirmed it is undertaking a full review of its A$2 billion (US$1.28 billion) property portfolio, including domestic freight and passenger terminals, to determine whether they should be retained or sold.
Australia's biggest airline owns its domestic freight and passenger terminals in both Sydney and Melbourne, with a sale of the assets projected to fetch up to $500 million.
"The review should take up to six months," Qantas said.
