SYDNEY, Oct. 16 / AsiaNet / -- This year's Sydney Motor Show coincides with one of the busiest new model launch periods in the Australian motor industry's history.
More than 60 all-new or revised production models and concept vehicles are appearing at the show. Several are making their southern hemisphere debuts.
"The Sydney Motor Show has become the annual focus for new model activity in Australia," said Peter Sturrock, the chief executive of the motor show's principal, the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.
"The show could now be considered as, in effect, the unofficial start of the 2004 model year for the Australian automotive industry," he said.
