AUSTRALIA'S CAMPBELL BROTHERS POSTS 30% LIFT IN PROFIT FOR H1.

SYDNEY, Nov 25 Asia Pulse - Diversified chemicals, analysis and consumer products group Campbell Brothers Ltd (ASX:CPB) today reported a 30 per cent lift in net profit for the first half of 2002/03.
Campbell Brothers recorded net profit of US$6.67 million (US$4.8 million) for the half year ended September 30, 2003, a 29.9 per cent improvement on the first half of the previous year.
Revenue from ordinary activities was up 11.84 per cent to A$192.18 million.
In an announcement to the market, Campbell Brothers said net profit after tax before goodwill amortisation was A$8.26 million for the first half, a 30.3 per cent increase on the previous first half figure.
