TELSTRA LAUDS DECISION BY AUSTRALIA'S COMPETITION WATCHDOG.

SYDNEY, Dec 22 Asia Pulse - Telstra Corp Ltd (ASX:TLS) has welcomed a report from the national competition watchdog which has cleared it of any systematic discrimination against its wholesale customers.
While the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said there were some variances which required further investigation, the conduct of Australia's dominant telco was ultimately given the thumbs up.
The report, instigated by the federal government, aims to separate Telstra's retail and wholesale accounting in order to give greater transparency on how the former monopoly player conducts its business.
