TEXAS INSTRUMENTS PHILIPPINES EYES US$100 BLN IN EXPORTS BY 2008.

BAGUIO CITY, July 22 Asia Pulse - Texas Instruments (TI) Philippines Inc. has projected a sustained improvement of its production exports in the coming years, so much so that by 2008 it will achieve total exports of US$100 billion.
TI (Phils.) Managing Director Norberto "Bing" Viera met with the local media to report the Baguio-based company's successful emergence as one of TI "most sophisticated assembly and test facilities serving the needs of the computer, telecommunications, aerospace, automotive and consumer industries in the United States, Asia, Europe and Japan."
As of this year, the company has a total of 450,000 workers which in the next four years would already be "over one million workers."
