AUSTRALIA'S SANTOS BOOKS FALL IN H1 SALES REVENUE.

MELBOURNE, July 23 Asia Pulse - Australia's third largest oil and gas producer Santos Ltd (ASX:STO) today reported reduced 2004 first half sales revenue of A$590.5 million (US$420 million) compared to $716.1 million reported in the first half of 2003.
Santos today said its second quarter sales revenue fell to .1 million down on the $347.4 million it reported in the previous corresponding period.
Santos today said current outlook for 2004 production with the recent divestment of the onshore Otway assets was between 45 and 46 million boe.
Total production for the June 2004 quarter was 11.6 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) compared with 13.8 million boe in the previous corresponding period.
