PAKISTAN OILFIELDS LTD DECLARES 10.2 PCT RISE IN REVENUES.

KARACHI, Oct 22 Asia Pulse - Pakistan Oilfields Ltd (POL) has declared an increase of 10.2 per cent to Rs 2,077 million (US$34.3 million) in the revenues generated nearly 51 per cent by the sale of crude oil during the 1Q05, as compared to Rs 1,885 million during the corresponding period the last year.

The company generated total revenues of Rs 6.7 billion during FY04, and it is expected that the overall revenues generated through increase in the sale of crude and rising international oil prices well above 65 dollars a barrel could result in surpassing the Rs 7.7 billion mark for FY05.
