KAZ BRAND TO MAKE TELSTRA AUSTRALIA'S LEADING ICT PROVIDER.

SYDNEY, Oct 22 Asia Pulse - A new $A1 billion ($US736.4 million) information and communication technology (ICT) outfit trading under the KAZ Group brand would put Telstra (ASX:TLS) in front as the nation's leading ICT provider, the telco said today.
The stand-alone business would continue to operate as KAZ Group and would merge the newly-acquired A$333 million IT company with Telstra's services solutions division.
Telstra business and government group managing director David Thodey said the new organisation would be Australia's largest domestically-operated ICT operation, with annual revenues approaching A$1 billion.
