SEVEN ASIA-PACIFIC TELCOS FORM MOBILE PHONE JV
SYDNEY - Seven Asia Pacific telcos have agreed to form a joint venture called Bridge Mobile Alliance, which will try to overcome hurdles facing mobile phone carriers across the region. Bridge Mobile is expected to invest up to $US30-40 million over three years to build a regional mobile infrastructure and a common service platform across all the different countries in the Asia Pacific region.
