S KOREAN WATCHDOG PROBING ALLEGED UNFAIR TRADING BY MICROSOFT.

SEOUL, Nov 8 Asia Pulse - South Korean antitrust regulators said Sunday they are looking into allegations that Microsoft Corp. engages in unfair trading by providing users of its computer operating system with software applications.

The investigation is in response to a formal complaint that RealNetworks Inc., a U.S. digital audio-video service operator, has lodged against Microsoft, the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) said.

The Seattle-based RealNetworks accuses Microsoft of "bundling" various software applications, including a media player and media server, for its computer operating system, on which most computers sold here are run, it said.
