S&P ASSIGNS BBB-MINUS RATING TO AUSTRALIA'S MACQUARIE AIRPORTS.

SYDNEY, Nov 12 Asia Pulse - Ratings agency Standard & Poor's today said it had assigned Macquarie Airports (MAp) a BBB-minus rating and assigned the same rating to a proposed A$465 million (US$355 million) plan to fund an investment in Brussels International Airport (BIAL) a BBB- rating.
S&P today said the outlook is stable and the ratings were subject to satisfactory final documentation, the raising of the debt and equity capital, and successful financial close of the acquisition of 70 per cent of Brussels Airport substantially as presented.
The proposed A$465 million Tradable Interest bearing Convertible Equity Trust Securities (TICkETS) will be raised to fund the investment in BIAL.
