Dow business going global with new site

Dow Chemical Co.'s Wire & Cable Compounds business introduced a new Web site that will make its product portfolio available to global customers.
The company debuted www.dowwireandcable.com in April at Wire 2002, one of the largest international wire and cable trade fairs, a company statement said.
``Our customers are global and the availability of information reflects that,'' said John Yimoyines, vice president of wire and cable compounds, polyolefins and elastomers. ``The Web site makes it easy for customers to do business with Dow-easy, informative and time efficient, all caveats in today's business climate.''
