There has been plenty of hype surrounding the launch of entertainment channels from Walt Disney Company and ITV, which are due to air this autumn. But advertisers and television buyers have yet to receive vital information about ABC1 and ITV3, including details of broadcast platforms, programme schedules and advertising costs.
Platform details have to be ironed out for ITV3, which is due to launch on November 1 and the advertising cost structure on ABC1, which begins broadcasting on September 27, still has to be set. ABC1 will be run without advertising for the first few months allowing viewing to build, ...
