Indiana probing closed ticket biz: Tickets Up Front subject of over 40 complaints to Attorney General Office.

The first and, for many years, leading ticket brokerage in Indiana apparently has folded, leaving a trail of unhappy customers from Maine to California.

Locally based Tickets Up Front, known as ticketsupfront.com the past three years, has shut down its Web site and locked its offices at the Pyramids. Because the phone at the reception desk has been taken off the hook, angry callers inquiring why they never received tickets paid for with credit cards hear only endless busy signals.

More than 40 complaints have poured in to the Indiana Attorney General's Office, which has launched an investigation, said Allen Pope, director of its Consumer Protection Division.

It's a dramatic fail for a firm that used to have a stronghold on the ticket brokerage...
