Three law firms rank among nation's largest 200: city's top firms won't confirm their revenue ranking was accurate in list published by The American Lawyer.

The city's three-largest law firms rank among the country's top 200 in annual revenue, with one grossing more than $100 million, according to a national legal magazine.

The American Lawyer in New York published its yearly top 100 fist in June and followed with the next 100 in its August issue. Barnes & Thornburg, Baker & Daniels and Ice Miller made the second cut.

Barnes & Thornburg, the state's largest firm, had annual revenue of $129 million last year, according to the magazine, ranking it 143rd. Baker & Daniels followed at 176th with $99.5 million, and Ice Miller slid into the 191st slot with $88 million.

Managing partners at two of the three firms, however, declined to confirm whether the revenue figures are accurate. None voluntary divulged...
