The University of Oregon women's soccer team dropped its final nonconference match of the season Sunday, losing 3-0 to No. 5-rated Portland at the University of Portland.
The Pilots scored first at 21:34 on a 12-yard kick by Emily Patterson off an assist by Lindsey Huie. In the second half, Portland added goals by Kristen Rogers (unassisted) at 46:40 and Christine Sinclair (assist by Erin Misaki) at 51:10.
Portland held advantages in shots (19-4) and corner kicks (9-0).
UO senior goalkeeper Sarah Peters finished with seven saves, compared to two for the Pilots' Lauren Arase.
