Wendy Baker has joined the law firm of Gaydos Churnside & Balthrop PC in Eugene as an associate. She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in May 2002. Prior to practicing law, Baker was a newspaper reporter and editor in Seattle and Eugene. She will represent small businesses, non-profits and financial institutions, in addition to doing estate planning and debtor-creditor law.
Paul Steenkolk has been appointed athletic director at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene. With the club since 1998, he will oversee racquetball, handball, squash and basketball programs, as well as his previous duties as fitness director.
