Two schools to hold programs on impact of war in Iraq

Separate forums Wednesday at Lane Community College and the University of Oregon will explore issues surrounding the war in Iraq and its fallout in the United States.
The LCC event will run from noon to 2 p.m. in Room 307 of the Forum building (Building 17). Speakers are Tamman Adi, director of the Islamic Cultural Center of Eugene, and Stan Taylor, an LCC political science instructor.
Adi will speak on Muslim life in the Old World, the perceived threat of terrorism in the West and how the occupation of Iraq affects these and other issues. Taylor will discuss the neo-conservative agenda in America.
