Police investigating string of three robberies
Police in Eugene and Springfield are investigating a trio of robberies that occurred within 70 minutes late Tuesday and early Wednesday. Witnesses provided similar descriptions of the culprit in each case.
The first report came at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday from the Dari Mart at 2920 W. 11th Ave. in Eugene.
A man wearing a ski mask and hooded sweatshirt walked into the store, acted as though he had a weapon and demanded cash before fleeing on foot.
The next call came at 12:34 a.m. Wednesday from the Village Inn Motel at 1875 Mohawk Blvd. in Springfield.
A female employee saw a man wearing a ski mask, "military style" pants and an olive or khaki sweatshirt...
