SPRINGFIELD - The Emerald Valley Titans split an American Legion baseball doubleheader with the Albany Rockets at Thurston High School on Tuesday.
Brian Barley was 3-for-3 with four RBIs, including a home run and a double, and Johnny Bowden added two hits as the Titans (25-20, 3-8) won the second game, 7-1. Derek Dmouchowski earned the complete-game victory by allowintg one run on three hits with six strikeouts.
