Local music piggybacks on Bach Festival

Local music students and music educators will be featured in Fifth Street Market's Bach Party, a series of free concerts beginning Friday and continuing through July 4.
Among those performing will be the Caerwyn String Quartet and the Dolce Trio. The trio is led by cellist Lauralie Kallinen, who teaches cello for the Suzuki Strings Program at the University of Oregon School of Music.
Dolce Trio, noon to 2 p.m. Friday, fountain courtyard.
Arts Umbrella's 30-piece orchestra, lead by Richard Long, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, fountain courtyard.
UO School of Music's Suzuki Strings Program presents classical favorites, 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, fountain courtyard.
