Two teenage golfers with one year of collegiate golf between them have qualified for the U.S. Amateur golf championships at the famed Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
Eric Hastings, who will be a sophomore at the University of Oregon next year, shot a 1-over-par 145 to take medalist honors in an OGA 36-hole stroke play qualifier Monday at Emerald Valley Golf Course.
