Health clinic in Drain offers
flu shots to at-risk children
DRAIN - The Douglas County Health Department will offer flu shots here to children in high-risk priority groups.
The shots will be available on a walk-in basis every Monday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Drain Clinic, 316 West A St. To be eligible, children must be 6 months to 18 years old with chronic medical conditions including heart disease, lung disease, asthma, diabetes, kidney diseases, blood disorders or a weakened immune system.
Also eligible are all children age 6 months to 23 months old; children taking aspirin on a long-term basis; and children living with one or more children younger than 6 months. For...
