Billionaire sneaker mogul Phil Knight is giving up his day-to-day responsibilities at Nike Inc., which may give him more time to dedicate to his beloved University of Oregon and its athletic programs.
Knight is the university's largest benefactor, and all signs indicate that that devotion will continue.
