With all the current discussion surrounding SMS, it amazes me that most people still seem to be ignoring the potential that fixed-line SMS has to offer mobile and fixed-line operators.
The introduction of fixed-line short message service (FLSMS) -- the ability to send text messages over fixed-line telephones -- will rejuvenate the fixed-line market and generate new revenue opportunities for both sets of operators. Fixed-line operators have finally found away to get a piece of the action -- surely good news.
