Cherokee manufactures custom and standard power supplies. Revenues are $140 million. Capella is a privately held company specializing in products for communication networks.

Cisco manufactures networking and communications products. Revenues are $30 billion. National Semiconductor manufactures semiconductors. Revenues are $2 billion.

Also held faculty appointments at Harvard University, the Wharton School of Finance, and the City College of New York. Sonderby spent a 38-year career with Deloitte & Touche, retiring as managing partner of its Philadelphia office, where he had led enterprise risk management for the eastern United States.

Clayton is an information and analytics company serving mortgage lending and financial services clients. Revenues are $239 million.

Also is a director of VeriSign Inc. Age 59.
