O'Leary has been chairman and CEO of Sagamore Group, a firm specializing in change management situations with a focus on the service sector, since 2001. He was previously president and CEO of PacificCare Health Systems Inc., a managed health services company. From 1995-2000 he was chairman and CEO of Premier Inc., a strategic alliance of nonprofit health care and hospital systems. Also is a director of Smiths Group PLC and Viasys Healthcare Inc. Age 58. Thurman has been in his present position since 2001. From 1996-2001 was chairman and CEO of Strategic Reserves LLC, a firm he founded that provided funding and strategic consulting services to h ealthcare technology companies. Formerly was chairman and CEO of Corning Life Sciences Inc, and served in various executive positions at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals. Also is a director of CuraGen Corp. and Closure Medical Corp. Age 53.

ICN develops pharmaceuticals and diagnostic products. Revenues are $905 million. Jones Day is a law firm. Viasys manufactures medical devices and products. Revenues are $362 million.
