GELITA[R] gelatine for high-gloss pictures: the GELITA Group presents new research results at the International Conference of Imaging Science (ICIS) in Tokyo.

Experts from the GELITA Photo Division presented new research results at the ICIS '02 in Tokyo in May. The ICIS is one of the most important congresses in imaging science. Gelatine is used in large quantities in the photo and film industries for coating film and photographic paper. Gelatine is also used in digital photography for printing Out high-quality, high-gloss computer photos.

One of the excellent properties of gelatine coating is its light stability, explained Dr. Berthold Kohler, who is responsible for ink-jet research in the R&D Department, to the 500 or so participants.
