Thermo Electron Acquires CRS Robotics.

Thermo Electron Corp. announced that it has completed the acquisition of CRS Robotics Corp., a global supplier of lab automation robotics, software, and equipment to the drug-discovery market. "This acquisition of CRS Robotics, marks an important next step toward our goal of becoming the world's leading provider of complete, sample-in, knowledge-out systems for drug-discovery customers," said Richard F. Syron, chairman and chief executive officer of Thermo Electron.
