President boosts lead hazard program, but advocates believe it is a decrease. (Fiscal Year 2004 Budget).

The Bush administration proposed a fiscal year 2004 (FY'04) budget for the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Lead Hazard Reduction program of $136 million, which is $10 million above his FY'03 request.
