Ahfad University for Women held its annual graduation ceremony for the 33rd batch in April 2003. During the ceremony honorary degrees were awarded to:

--Dr Suad Ibrahim Essa in the filed of Science for her continuous participation in the improvement of Education in the Sudan and the empowerment of women.

--Professor Gerrar Mayor from the faculty of Medicine at Maastricht in Holland for his support of the school of Medicine of Ahfad University for Women.
