Ahfad University for Women (AUW) has finished developing the curricula for a seventh academic school of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Studies in collaboration with the Voluntary Organization for International Co-operation (OVCI) Nostra Famiglia, an Italian Non-Governmental Organization.
The University was visited by Dr. Ian Bronc, the Assistant for the General Secretary of the UN who gave a lecture on "The Challenge of the Interim Period: The Role of Professionals in Promoting Peace and Development in Sudan" on the 13th of July, 2005.
