This book appears to be written primarily as a self-help reference for non-professionals. Nonetheless, many psychotherapists will find the book interesting and informative, especially if they are still searching for ways to formulate explanations and discussions with patients. Dr. Glasser uses this book to discuss his approach to what he terms "unhappiness." The ideas presented are based on his previously published Choice Theory.
