Visa U.S.A. Inc. is using the LOCI World Wide Web site to target the post-baby boom generation, or Generation X. Through the LOCI which provides news from US and international schools to college students, Visa is sponsoring an essay contest. The contest aim to get on-line research and information that will provide pointers on marketing on the Internet and to students.

San Francisco - Visa U.S.A. is successfully communicating with Generation X, the newest slippery but desirable target market for several industries.

Visa is establishing a relationship with the Gen X using one of its favorite mediums, the Internet, in conjunction with the LOCI[R] World Wide Web (WWW) site, developed by students at Boston University and sponsored by Barnes & Noble Bookstores....
