Registration Fees

* Member -- This fee applies to Ohio Society members and affiliates, or members of other state societies.

* Non-member -- All individuals who qualify for membership in The Ohio Society and choose not to be members/affiliates or individuals who do not work in an accounting- related field are charged an additional $145.

* Early Registration Target Date -- The early registration fee is a $40 discount off the standard fee and is applied to registrations received 14 days prior to the event date. The standard fee will be applied to any registrations received at The Ohio Society after the target date.

* AICPA/PDI discount -- An individual who is a member of the AICPA who has registered to attend a seminar developed by AICPA/PDI is eligible for a $30 discount per program day off the course fee.

Cancellations/Transfers

* Regarding cancellations, if you notify The Ohio Society of CPAs of your cancellation prior to the course date, you will receive a credit in the amount of the course fee, less $35. If you cancel on the program date or you do not show up for the program, you will not receive a refund.

* In the event the Society should cancel a program, the full course fee will be refunded to you in the form of credit that can be applied to another course.

* If you wish to transfer your registration before the program date, there is no charge. However, if you are transferring into an event that is past the early registration target date, an additional $40 will be applied.

ADA/Special Needs

* Please indicate any special dietary or physical needs on your course registration or contact The Ohio Society of CPAs at least one week prior to the program date so accommodations can be made.

Approval

* The Accountancy Board of Ohio has approved each course for CPE credit. The Society's sponsor approval code is SC-001.

Staff Tax Training--Individual Taxation

This program provides young accountants with one year or less of tax experience with three days of comprehensive tax training pertaining to individual income taxation. Tax areas affecting all types of taxpayers will also be covered in depth (i.e., property transactions). All recent tax legislation will be emphasized throughout this program including relevant provisions of The 2003 Jobs and Growth Act.
