A nylon-for-acrylics exchange between ICI Fibers and DuPont has been completed, with a few modifications. The new agreement calls for ICI to relinquish one of its three acrylics plants, by FTC order. DuPont will pay ICI up to $352.5 million between 1994 and 2000, an amount partly conditional on DuPont's meeting revenue targets for nylon filament. The exchange includes ICI nylon intermediates, fibers and engineering plastics operations and DuPont methyl methacrylate and acrylic cast sheet plants.
