Nexen Chemicals says it is replacing its disparate planning, accounting, and purchasing systems worldwide with a single SAP R/3 ERP system. Implementation has been completed at Nexen's sodium chlorate facility at Bruderheim, AB, as well as at offices in Houston, Calgary, AB, and Vancouver, BC.

Further roll-out of the new ERP system will be staggered over the next seven months, and is slated for completion in February 2005, Nexen says.
