Russian Girl: Life in an Old Russian Town. (book reviews)
Children's Playmate, September, 1994 by Allen, J. Sue
This is a book about Olga and how she lives. Olga is nine years old and lives in Russia. Russia is a big country that is across the Atlantic Ocean. It is far away from your house.
Olga is a lot like you. She goes to school, does her homework and chores, and plays outdoors. She loves her babushka (BAH-bush-kah)-her grandmother. The tooth fairy doesn't come to see Olga when she loses a tooth, but someone else does.
Some things about Olga's life are different, but some things are the same as yours.
