CNOOC seeks cooperation with Thai Oil Enterprises.(China National Offshore Oil Corp., Thai Oil Exploration and Development Co., Thai State Oil Company )(Brief Article)

In the economic and trade seminar recently held by China and Thailand, CNOOC signed an MOU with Thai State Oil Company (PTT) and Thai Oil Exploration and Development Co., Ltd. (PTTEP). The economic and trade seminar is jointly chaired by vice prime ministers of Thailand and China.
Major contents of the MOU include the searching for opportunities in the joint exploration, development and production of oil/gas fields in Thailand and some overseas regions and the searching for new opportunities in old tracts whose contract periods will soon expire in Thailand.
