Acrylic rubber demand increases steadily.

Acrylic rubber (ACM) has resistance to aging, oil, ozone and UV ray. It can be used together with fluorine rubber, nitrile rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber.
Major ACM production methods include the suspension polymerization process, the emulsion polymerization process and the solution polymerization process. The ACM production in China is based on the emulsion polymerization process. Products mainly include AR, BJ, JF and BA series. Other varieties are at the development stage. According to incomplete statistics, major ACM producers in China include Chengdu Qinglong Acrylic Rubber Plant, Special Rubber Plant of Jianfeng Chemical and Chengdu Fudi Co., Ltd.
