Nanometer silver antibacterial coatings, nanometer composite multifunctional coatings and new antibacterial, anti-mildew and anti-algae nanometer environmental friendly coatings jointly developed by Jiangsu Chenguang Paint Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Research Institute of Tsinghua University recently passed the appraisal sponsored by Jiangsu Science and Technology Department.

These three new coatings can remove 70% of methanol and benzene in visible light within 24 hours and kill more than 600 types of bacteria. They have lasting safety effect on human bodies and can be extensively used in households and public places to perform special antibacterial, anti-mildew, anti-algae and decontamination functions.
