ICI Paints gives AZ neighborhood a facelift

Coatings World, August, 2005

ICI Paints and the city of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department hosted "Neighborhood Facelift," an event designed to assist homeowners in improving the exterior appearance of their homes. Volunteers from ICI Paints, the local chapter of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), Fatima Church Youth Group, St. Anthony Church and other local civic organizations worked to refurbish six homes in the Grant Park neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ. More than 80 gallons of paint were used to complete the project, most of which was donated by ICI Paints and other manufacturers in conjunction with Arizona State University's ASU CARES community service project. In addition to the paint, ICI also provided paint brushes, rollers, painters caps and other tools for the event.

"The Neighborhood Facelift program is a great way for us to demonstrate our commitment to the communities in which we do business," said Jerry Luce, senior marketing manager, ICI Paints.
