Autodesk: CAD pioneer.(Brief Article)

Autodesk invented PC DOS-based CAD, and has more installations than any other CAD company by far. With its nationwide network of value-added resellers and distributors, plus about 2,000 developers of third-party products, it consistently ranks among the top CAD suppliers in terms of user spending on engineering software.
The newest product Autodesk is bringing to market: AutoCAD 2000. The company says it is a stand-alone product featuring a multiple design environment where users can drag and drop features and objects across designs from one window to another.
