The John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation (www.engr. pitt.edu/scpi), part of the John A. Swanson Institute for Technical Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, has received a donation of $370,000 from ALGOR--including the company's design, analysis, and multiphysics simulation software and services.

The Swanson Center provides industry and entrepreneurs with access to reportedly the only complete product development center in the Pittsburgh area. ALGOR's CAE software will be used early in the design cycle of new products.
