Enron's former chief accounting officer.

Financial Management (Chartered Institude of Management Accountants), February, 2006

Enron's former chief accounting officer, Richard Causey, has reportedly agreed a deal with US prosecutors that will give him a reduced sentence in return for testifying against his former chief executives, Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling. According to the Houston Chronicle, Causey has pleaded guilty to one charge of securities fraud.

He is now likely to appear as a prosecution witness along with Enron's former CFO, Andy Fastow, who agreed to a plea bargain in 2003. www.accountingweb.co.uk/item/ 149196/448.
