The F.C.C. Cleans Up the Airways

A radio station in Indianapolis is being threatened with the death penalty. Decency in Broadcasting, an association of "parents, businessmen, teachers, pastors and concerned citizens,' has filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission asking it to revoke the license of WFBQ-FM. Among the station's purported transgressions, it played the song "Keep It in Your Pants, Jim Bakker.'

The group has mounted an all-out campaign against the station's morning team of Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold, whose "Bob and Tom Show' represents shock radio Indiana-style.
