Sema, LHS Finalize Merger, New Product Line.(Company Business and Marketing)

With a planned July merger and a new product line in place, Sema Group plc, a European information technology services company, and the U.S.-German billing software firm LHS Group Inc. plan to take advantage of a trend toward turnkey solutions. The merger couldn't have come at a better time.
As carriers consolidate globally, wireless companies are looking for a single firm to provide them with billing, customer care, prepaid, mobile e-commerce and other solutions. LHS Group spokesman Klaus Kleber says the new company plans additional offerings once the merger is complete.
