Wireless banking services are maturing. Internet banker NetBank has added wireless banking from any digital phone, Wireless Application Protocol-enabled phone or Palm VII to its list of services. The company has teamed up with Air2Web, a wireless infrastructure provider, to develop the service.

Customers can receive current balances and transaction summaries on checking, money market accounts and CDs, either on-demand or through automatic notifications. NetBank anticipates adding other services such as bill paying and transferring funds in the near future.
