Grayson adds GSM.(to Geometrix Wireless Location System)(Brief Article)(Product Announcement)

Grayson Wireless has added GSM compatibility to its Geometrix Wireless Location System, which will provide 911 caller Location information that meets the FCC's phase TI location requirements. Geometrix is now compatible with all cellular and PCS handsets in the United States. The system is network-based and can support both digital and analog handsets.

Geometrix accommodates GSM frequency hopping and encryption modes. Grayson has tested the system in urban, suburban and rural areas and it is FCC compliant in all settings.
