Glenayre Tests Platform.(Brief Article)

Glenayre Technologies Inc. has successfully tested its Large Solutions Platform with independent wireless provider PrimeCo Personal Communications. The unified communications platform enables customers to access their voice, fax and e-mail messages from a single mailbox and also provides other enhanced services.

During the two-month trial, Glenayre demonstrated the platform's scalability by upgrading PrimeCo's subscribers from stand-alone voice messaging platforms that support up to 200,000 subscribers and 240 ports to Glenayre's platform, which supports up to 5 million subscribers and 6,000 ports.
